Hello there readers! Tim & I have been working really hard on Ode. As a sort of mini comic (since I like to do spooky mini comics this time of year) we present to you, Blood from a Stone. It’s the first of some mini comics about Ella Chant (a character who will appear in Ode).
Sketch a day has been going well (with the exception of the hurricane interlude) and so I’m now also adding a new comic page each day as well. Hope you enjoy!

Today’s page was 15 minutes late, but thanks to time travel, all is good. I had some computer issues… my cintiq wasn’t registering pen pressure. It sure does help to make sure all plugs are secure. OTL

And we’re back! My hiatus lased a bit longer than I would have liked, but I’m back and going to continue this story! I’m looking for a 3x a week update schedule that I can keep up with, but if there are more, then I’ll post more frequently, as I’ve been mad busy job interviewing and the like. Also holidays back in Buffalo were pretty crazy and I’ve been busy since. I also updated the convention schedule for this upcoming year and I’m hoping to start back up on the Sketch a Day train. I’ve never been one to be an over-sharer, but I think in this new year many happy things are in store and things that might have been a bit on the less than ok side are going away. Sometimes it’s hard finding a balance between what you enjoy doing and what you also really enjoy doing- if that makes any kind of sense… ^^;

Friday update! How exciting!! I’m still working at getting back into the sketch a day groove, but huzzah for updates on the day they should occur! muhaha!!
Woah! A new page?! Yes!!
So what’s been up! I’ve been trying quite hard lately to get more design jobs (target acquired!) I also had a lot of secret Star Wars type projects- Christmas is going to be awesome! Along the way I’ve been working on Sketch A Days and have gotten into video recording tutorials and teaching myself to edit! (check out my Youtube & Vimeo)
AND! I’m almost done working on a kickstarter to get the tools & supplies I need to make Squid Salad merch. Look out for that suuuuper soon!!
