Hey everyone!! There is one day left on my kickstarter!!!

First off- Happy May the 4th (+free Comic Book Day)!! I meant to draw something Star Wars, but the past week has been so crazy, I just managed to finally finish this long awaited Copic marker tutorial. (Here’s the youtube version if you prefer) It’s all about inking and blending!

Also there are only 17 days to go on my Kickstarter!! you can score cool original art as well as other kinds of fancy prints and sketch a day pdfs!! Thanks to everyone who donated, we’ve reached the goal, but there are now really spiffy PUSH Goals to work towards! Like more drawings, foil stamped prints, new art, and size upgrades!!!

Thanks to you, last night we reached 100% of the goal!!!!! Thank you *so* much for your support, sending me kind wishes, and spreading the project around! I’m super humbled, excited, and major grateful!!! And the best part is, since we made it in the first week we don’t have to stop at just 100%! There are 3 more weeks left to reach fantastic push goals and see how high we can fly! As a refresher….

Ahoy! Sketch a Day is back from hiatus!! I went to MoCCA last weekend and it was a super blast! One of my favorite artists, Noelle Stevenson, was there. She draws this really excellent webcomic called Nimona. I highly recommend it. Nimona is a protégé to an evil lord, and she just wants things to go the evil way she has planned… which is blowing shiz up to smithereens! Maybe one day she’ll learn to chill, but that’s half the fun, right?
